Wood
What EUDR requires
Trace every product back to its harvest plot. Verify legality — under the country's forest laws or a FLEGT license (recognised for the EUDR legality check).
How EUDR Starter handles it
Suppliers submit plot geolocation via the free supplier portal. The platform checks against deforestation risk data and generates DDS statements ready for TRACES.
Cattle
Trace bovine products to the last farm before slaughter. Plots over 4 hectares need polygon geolocation; smaller plots need a single point. No deforestation after 31 December 2020.
Suppliers submit farm coordinates or polygons directly via the free portal. The platform cross-references historical forest-cover data and prepares DDS statements for TRACES.
Cocoa
Geolocate every cocoa plot back to farm level. Verify no deforestation after 31 December 2020. Traceability must cover the full multi-tier chain — buyer, cooperative, aggregator, farmer.
Smallholders submit geolocation via the free portal. Data forwards through cooperatives and aggregators to the importer, consolidated at batch level for DDS.
Coffee
Trace coffee back to origin plots. The May 2026 Annex I update broadened scope: soluble extracts (HS 2101), husks, and preparations now require the same due diligence as green beans.
Supports direct-trade single-origin and blended multi-origin supply chains. Plot-level data from any number of suppliers is consolidated into one DDS ready for TRACES.
Oil palm
What EUDR requires
Geolocate palm plantations and mills. The May 2026 Annex I update expanded scope to derivatives (HS 1516, 1520, 3823) used in cosmetics, biodiesel, and cleaning products.
How EUDR Starter handles it
Supports concession-level geolocation, mill-list traceability, and mapping of downstream palm content in derivatives — so you can track palm through complex chains.
Rubber
What EUDR requires
Trace natural rubber back to plantation-level geolocation. Synthetic rubber is out of scope, but blended products (like tyres) must correctly split obligations for the natural rubber component.
How EUDR Starter handles it
Plantation coordinates come in via the supplier portal. For blended products, the platform splits natural rubber from synthetic content — only in-scope material triggers a DDS.
Soy
What EUDR requires
Trace soybean crops back to the field. Verify no deforestation on that land after 31 December 2020. Large-plot soy (often thousands of hectares) requires polygon geolocation.
How EUDR Starter handles it
Suppliers upload polygons directly as GeoJSON — the industry standard for large-plot data. The platform consolidates across multiple farms into a single DDS for TRACES.
