IntegrityNext Expands Product Compliance Pillar with New PPWR Capabilities

New capability helps companies identify in-scope packaging, collect supplier evidence, assess substance thresholds, and generate audit-ready documentation from one platform.

Munich, Germany, and New York, NY | July 30, 2026 - IntegrityNext, the AI-powered supply chain sustainability platform, today announced the expansion of its Product Compliance pillar with new capabilities for the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).

The first PPWR obligations apply from August 12, 2026, requiring companies placing packaging on the EU market to manage packaging conformity with greater accuracy and transparency. Immediate requirements include PFAS restrictions for food-contact packaging, heavy metal thresholds across packaging, and audit-ready Declaration of Conformity (DoC) and technical documentation.

For many organizations, the information needed to prove conformity is still scattered across ERP systems, supplier declarations, spreadsheets, bills of material, and product specifications. IntegrityNext brings this data into one connected workflow, helping compliance teams move from manual evidence chasing to structured, reusable packaging compliance data. The result is faster PPWR readiness, helping companies stay audit-ready, protect market access, and avoid creating another compliance silo.

"PPWR turns packaging compliance into a data challenge," said Till Reiter, Chief Product Officer at IntegrityNext. "Companies need a repeatable way to identify in-scope packaging, collect supplier evidence, and maintain audit-ready documentation—not just to comply with PPWR, but to keep products market-ready across multiple markets."

One Workflow for PPWR Readiness

The new capabilities extend IntegrityNext's existing Product Compliance pillar, allowing companies to manage packaging alongside products, materials, and substances. Packaging units can be imported as SKUs, mapped to suppliers, assessed against relevant requirements, and monitored through a dedicated PPWR regulation lens.

IntegrityNext helps companies:

  • Identify in-scope packaging: Manage primary, secondary, and transport packaging in one portfolio, with food-contact tagging to trigger PFAS-related checks.
  • Collect supplier evidence once: Use existing supplier assessments to collect material composition and substance information, while AI agents parse BOM and Full Material Disclosure documents into structured data.
  • Assess compliance status: Monitor PFAS applicability, heavy metal thresholds, supplier submissions, exceedances, and open actions through PPWR-specific dashboards.
  • Generate audit-ready documentation: Support DoC and technical dossier workflows so documentation is ready for customer, auditor, or authority requests.

Because the solution is built on a shared compliance data layer, companies can reuse supplier evidence across PPWR, REACH, RoHS, PFAS, POPs, TSCA PBT5, and other product compliance workflows. Instead of creating another compliance silo, the same data supports multiple regulations.

Built for Product, Packaging, and Supplier Compliance

The PPWR capabilities build on IntegrityNext's Product Compliance pillar, which combines Product & Material Compliance, Mineral Sourcing & Compliance, and Lifecycle Management within one integrated platform.

Packaging compliance increasingly overlaps with adjacent requirements such as REACH, PFAS restrictions, extended producer responsibility, and broader sustainability reporting. IntegrityNext enables companies to manage those connections in the same platform they already use for supply chain due diligence, carbon management, and sustainability reporting.

With more than 600 customers and over 3 million suppliers on the platform, IntegrityNext provides established supplier engagement infrastructure and a unified compliance data foundation. Companies can extend existing supplier workflows to packaging compliance instead of creating another silo for data collection and reporting.

"The point is not to create another PPWR project," Reiter added. "The point is to make packaging data reusable — across regulations, supplier workflows, and future reporting requirements. That's how companies avoid another compliance silo and stay ready for what's next."
